You might have absentmindedly unplugged the operator as you were exiting the garage through your internal door to the house. If it is be sure that the lenses are mounted five to six inches from the floor on either side of the garage door opening.

This is related to the up limit switch. Replace broken chain belts sprockets or pulleys. Lift the door with both hands.
