If no food or utensils are in the oven start a self clean cycle then hit clear off after 60 seconds.

Disconnect power to range for 30 seconds. Put the oven door in the ajar position and gently pull up by grasping either side. Locate the hinges on either side of the door and flip the latch up. Wait approximately 30 minutes for the oven to cool and try to unlock the door.

Raise the door up to the broil position before inserting it into the hinges and then wiggle it while you lower the door so that it goes into place. The latch is perhaps the most obvious suspect when an oven door won t close. It can become stuck or warped after countless opening and closing motions or may inadvertently be locked due to an accidental press of the self clean button. Try the following to unlock the door.
