Reprogram the remote to the power head.

Take a small insulated wire and jump between the red and white terminals at the opener.
From your previous posts it sounds like the wall switch wire.
Disconnect the wires from the button and touch the bare ends together.
To know for sure what the problem is you may want to have a service technician check the garage door opener.
Your light should light up.
Finally it s possible the garage door opener s motor.
Replace the genie remote if needed.
If the lamp works in the outlet.
You can also check the switch wall ceiling wiring by connecting a battery and lightbulb to the bare ends then have an assistant press the wall button.
Check all remotes if all the remotes and wireless devices stopped working at the same time this could indicate the circuit board needs replaced replace the remote battery if neccesary.
If the unit operates then the wall switch wire or the wall switch is the problem.

Diagnosing this type of wall control is more complicated than the single led type.
Plug a lamp into the wall outlet that services the console to check the power.
If the door operates either the wires weren t securely connected to the button or it s gone bad.
Car wall and control on the wall garage door will not open.
I did try jumping it just lit up the adjustment switches on the unit but no action.
Check the console lock switch.
The button is bad.
If the wall control doesn t light up and work properly then the wall control or the logic board in the garage door opener is defective.
The location of the switch will depend on the model of the device.
If this doesn t work the circuit in the motor housing is unhappy and needs a closer look.
The garage door opens with the wall switch and even sometimes with the remote but it doesn t close with the remotes only with the wall switch.
As with many such problems the most common problem is the simplest one the motor unit has been unplugged.
I do not hear the motor running but the light does turn on.
