Garage Door Sensor Red Green Light

The green light signifies your sensors have power while the red light signifies the sensors are aligned.

The garage door sensor yellow light and the green light together create a solid illumination. Low voltage circuits raise the garage door using the control button on the garage wall or the remote control unit from a vehicle. If you see that the sender sensor is not yellow and the receiver sensor is not green then this means that your sensors are probably off. If the red light is blinking it means the sensors are not aligned and need adjusting.

If getting debris away from the door makes no difference then there s more to the story. For people who do not know the transmitter has the yellow light and the receiving sensor has the green light. If you do not see a solid illumination or your garage door is not working the problem is most likely due to the sensors being out of line.
